GREAT COST TO STATE. FURTHER BORROWING POWERS. LONDON, July 18. The House of Commons, without a division, authorised the Minister for Labour, Miss Margaret Bondfield, to increase the Government's borrowing powers for the unemployment insurance fund from £!50.000,000 to J'60 ) 000..000. The. fund is already overdrawn by £43,000,000.
