Despatches from Alexandria state that after a quiet (lay further rioting occurred there. A mob rushed through the streets cheering the ex-Prime Minister, Nahas Pasha. Troops stationed at the entrance to the Arab quarter of the city dispersed the rioters by firing :i few shots. One man was injured. The battleships Queen Elizabeth and Kaluillcs have arrived at Alexandria. An important manifesto which is likely to considerably affect the people has been issued by the Grand Mufti and Sheiks urging Egyptians to obey authority, especially that of the King in accordance with tho precepts of the Koran and not to allow themselves to be led astray by instigators of rebellion against tho Government.

In the House of Commons to-day tho Secretary of State for War, Mr. T. Shaw, stated that British troops were not used in the disturbances at Alexandria.
