ALLEGED BRIBERY.
POLITICIAN EXONERATED. CHARGES NOT PROVEN. CANBERRA. July 18. Mr. Justice Dethridge, Royal Commissioner, to day heard further evidence in the case in which it is alleged that broadcasting companies tried fo bribe members of the Federal Public Accounts Committee. His Honor said : " If I were to report, now I would find that Mr. Roland Green's allegations of bribery have not licen proven. .My examination of tho hanking accounts of Mr. P. Coleman, chairman of the committee, proved that if lie received a bribe it bad not been paid into those accounts. "All the members of the committee other than Mr. Coleman and Mr Green are clear of any suspicion of having been approached with an ofler ol a bribe. Ihe inquiry will be kept open if there is a chance of finding the mystery man who is alleged to have offered Mr. Green £200."
