ROCK BUNS.
Crumble into Jilb. of flour 3oz. of butter. Add -Jib. of sugar, Jib. of cleaned currants, loz. chopped candied pool, a teaspoonful of baking powder, a grate of lemon rind. Beat an egg, add a very littlo milk to it, and make into a stiff dough. Put in littlo rough heaps on to a greased tin. Bake in a hot oven for about a-quarter of an hour.
