CONDITIONS IN SOUTH. Auckland.—Perfect weather was experienced yesterday. The sun shone hiightly all day and the wind was light from the south-west. The barometer was stP.i'ly. last evening, the reading being 30.3Uin. Wellington. - Wednesday's southerly storm died away during the night, ant yesterday was quite fine. There was more sunshine than clouds, but a light vhi from the south was cold. Christchurch.—The weather was » ne vesterdav with more cloud than suns ft »«. The maximum temperature was 4a "V The barometer was falling, the reading the evening being 29.95 in.
