DYNAMITE EXPLOSION.
MIEN KILLED WHEN ASLEEP* /, : ; OTTAWA, Juno.27. Tho 30 poisons who were' killed at Brockville by the explosion of dynamite on the drill scow J. P. King, when it was struck by lightning, were asleep » below the waterline. Their bodies are believed to be tangled in the wreckage of the hull. One body has been recovered. There were 12 survivors. It is not known whether there was any consideablo amount of dynamite oa board.. It is believed that the lightning struck the scow and 1 , ran along a drill rod down into a reef where dynamite had been set for blasting.
