NEWFOUNDLAND STORM.; ' ■ HAIL DOES MUCH DAMAGE. OTTAWA, Juno "27. The toll of deaths in the terrifio thunderstorm in Eastern Newfoundland has now reached eleven.' Lightning killed five persons at St. Johns. At Lumsden, a fishing settlement, the liugq hailstones smashed practically every roof and window in tho village. Three fishermen clung to their upturned boats until they were beaten to death by the falling ice.
