POSTMAN IN COURT.
THE THEFT OF LETTERS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Friday When William George McLean, a postman with 10 years' service and a married man with two children, appeared in the Police Court to-day, ho pleaded guilty to the theft of letters containing money, postal notos and a cheque, between February 10 and Juno . 20. It was stated that the postal notes and cheque were destroyed by accused. There wore seven charges. Tho magistrate, Mr. E. Page, remandod tho case until Tuesday in order that ho might consider it
