THE SENIOR COMPETITION. CONCLUSION OF FIRST ROUND. MARIST PLAYS DEVONPORT. The first round of tho Auckland Rugby League's senior grado competition will be concluded to-morrow, and in view of tho absence of prominent players tho matches should be interesting. The meeting of Marist and Devonport at Carlaw Park should prove a good draw. Marist, which leads in the competition, will bo without the services of Gregory and Brisbane, who left to join the New Zealand team for Australia. On No. 2 ground Ellerslio play Newton, find at the Domain City will meet Richmond. A charity game is to be played at Mangere, where Ponsonby meets Kingsland. Lower Grado games will bo continued.
