MOUNT EDEN TRAM EXTENSION.
Sir, —It is reported 'that Mount Eden tramway extension is to be commenced almost immediately. The report also states that the extension will not be carried beyond Landscape Road unless the road through the Three Kings is put down in permanent material by the Mount Roskill Road Board. Somo time ago the Transport Board promised to review the sections on this route and bring them into line with Dominion Road and Sandringham. If Mount Eden extension is taken as far as Landscape Road only what will bo the position in regard to the sections ? Resident.
