Considerable pleasure had been derived from th# gymnasium and physical drill classes. ' The matron's report refers to the ccn» 1 tinned good health of the children and ; states that the medical report presents » clean bill of health. Among the ehfldrea were many of weak constitution . who, , through nourishing food, exercise and regular hours and ideal environment, were being built np to a condition of robust health. The working account of the house show* an adverse balance of £587, which is £36 in excess of the loss made last year. There was a working eapital of £so2* ' Legacies added to the endowment fund totalled £1253, making a total cf about £7OOO. It was believed that expected legacies would bring the fand up to £3OQQ by the end of next year.
