FARMERS ON TOUR.
NORTH AUCKLAND PARTY. [BT TELEGRAPH.—ov/y PALMERSTO'n NORTH, Thursday. A party of 22 North Auckland farmers arrived in Palmerston North by tho Napier express to-day in "the courso of a tour of tho North Island. This afternoon tho party visited the Massey Agricultural College. There are five ladies with the party, which is led by Mr. H. Kay, of Whangarei, a member of the Farmers' Union. Mr. A. E. Lovell, commercial representative of the Railway Department, is personally conducting the tour. Already tho travellers have spent two days each at Hamilton, Hawera, Wellington, and Hastings. They state that, they havo had a wonderful time, tho weather having been perfect. To-morrow, they will be motored through the farming districts of Manawatu.
