Tho Australian cricketers to-day resumed their match against Lancashiro at Old Trafford, Manchester. Whon slumps wero drawn on Saturday tho visitors had made 231 runs for tho losi of five wickets, Kippax (56) and Fairfax (1) being the not out men. These two batsmen at the luncheon interval had raised the total to 352, Kippax having made 118 and Fairfax 60 without further loss. SECOND TEST MATCH. TEAM FOR ENGLAND. FENDER SUGGESTS NAMES. , LONDON, June 22. Mr. I'. G. H. Fender, of tho Surrey County Cricket Club, says ho thinks England ought not to lose tho next test match against the Australians, though tho team was not impressive in the first match. As a team fit to meet all possibilities ho advocates a side including Hobbs, Leyland, Hammond, Hendren, Duleepsinhji, Chapman, Geary, Robins, Tate, Larwood and Duckworth.
