RAILWAY FATALITY.
LOCOMOTIVE CAPSIZES. DRIVER DIES OF INJURIES. PERTH, June 23. A railway engine left tho rails between Wongan Ilills and Norlliam and capsized. Tlio fireman was thrown 40ft. away and the driver was buried in mud and sand. Tho following trucks were telescoped and piled themselves into a mass of tangled wreckage, which caught firo and was quickly reduced to ashes and twisted iron. The lines had been affected bv rain. Help was soon forthcoming and the driver, Mr. Bailey, was released, but lie died later, having had both his legs broken and his chest badly injured. The fireman, Mr. Guthrie, was badly hurt.
