ELDERLY CYCLIST KILLED.

COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR. [BY TELEGRAPH.—MESS ASSOCIATION'.] TIMARU, Monday. A fatal collision took place at St. Andrew's last evening between an elderly man, Mr. William Stephens, a railway ganger, who was riding a cycle, and a motor-car. Stephens was killed instantly. An inquest was opened this morning and adjourned sino die after evidence of identification had been taken.
