CONDITION OF HEALTH.
GRAVE ANXIETY FELT.
TURN FOR THE WORSE.

The condition of Sir Joseph Ward is causing grave anxiety. He suffered a turn for the worse at six o'clock this evening and late to-night it was stated that his condition was lower than it had been for the past week. Sir Joseph arrived in Wellington from Rotorua on Juno 10, accompanied by Dr. J. D. C. Duncan, and it was stated that ho stood the journey well. Last Thursday it was announced that Sir Joseph was weaker and since then there had been no change in his condition until this evening. Dr. Duncan has returned to Rotorua, and Sir Joseph has since been attended by Dr. P. F. McEvedy.
