CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.
SERVICES AT NORTHCOTE.
Special services in connection with the seventy-first anniversary of St. John the Baptist Church at Northcote, the oldest church on the North Shore, were commenced, yesterday, the preachers being tho Rev. Jasper Calder and the Rev F. G. Harvie. Tho commemoration will be continued to-morrow, St. John's Day, and after tho evening service, at which Canon W. Fancourt will be the preacher, a social will be held in the parish hall.
