REFUELLING IN THE AIR.
ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED.

In connection with Squadron-Leader Kingsford Smith's proposed transatlantic flight, arrangements havo been made for the utilisation of a special aeroplane—which was employed in tho recent refuelling of a non-stop flight here—to refuel the Southern Cross .when she' approaches the American coast.
The aeroplane may await the Southern Cross at Nova Scotia or Maine. She will carry 100 gallons of petrol, which will give Smith's monoplane an additional rango of 300 miles.
