RUBY WEDDING.

MR. AND MBS. J. STORMONT. The fortieth anniversary of the wedding of Mi-, and Mrs. John Stormont, of Onslow Road, Epsom, was celebrated at a party held at the Hotel Cargen cn Saturday evening. Married at St. Mary s Church, Battersea, London, in June, 1390, Mr. and Mrs. St or mont remained in England for IS years after fheir marriage. Sir. Stormont came to New Zealand in July, 1908. and was followed bv Mrs. Stormont and their seven sons in March of the following vear. In 1914, just six weeks before the declaration of war, Mr. Stonnont commenced a bakery business in Auckland. With the exception of the youngest, ail Mr. and Mrs. Stormont's sons are married, and all are employed in their father's business. Among relatives and friends present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Stormont.
