Middlesex.—Gloucestershire: First innings, five for 204, declared (Dacro 95); second innings, 151 (Russell seven for 43). Middlesex: First innings, 385 (Lee 76, Pnrker five for 96); second innings, 120 (Parker four for 40, Goddard four for 37). Gloucestershire won by 50 runs. Derbyshire v. Sussex.—Derbyshire: First innings, 203 (BowJey five for 63); second innings, 193. Sussex: First innings, 429 (Wcnsley 120). Sussex won by an innings and 34 runs. Warwickshire v. Kent.—Warwickshire: First innings, 149 (Freeman eight for 71); second innings, 160 (Freeman six for 70). Kent: First innings, 429 (Ashdown 133, Todd 94, Knott 73), Kent won by an innings and 120 runs. Somerset v. Notts.—Somerset: First innings, 300 (White 91, A. Staples five for 78); second innings, 240 (Lee 79). Notts: First innings, 293 (Lee five for 100). Somerset won on the first innings. Northamptonshire v. Yorkshire.—Northamptonshire: First innings, 88 (Bowes fivo for 30); second innings, 168 (Bowes five for 56). Yorkshire: First innings, 184; second innings, one for 73. Yorkshire won by nine wickets. Worcestershire v. Leicestershire.—Worcestershire; First innings, 127; second innings, 120. Leicestershire: First innings, 98; second innings, 106. Worcestor won by 43 runs. BOXING MATCH AT SYDNEY; PETERS DEFEATS GILDO. (Recoived June 22, 6.85 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 22. At the Sydney Stadium last N evening Johnny Peters, English bantam-weight boxer, won on points against Gildo, a Filippino. Tho large crowd disagreed with the verdict, thinking a draw should have been given. The fight was willing throughout. Gildo's fierceness taxed the Englishman's ringcraft to the fullest extent.
