ALLEGED THEFT OF FILLY.
YOUNG MAN BEFORE COURT.
[nv TK.r.EGTiArrr. —own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Friday.
On a charge of having stolon a filly at Miranda, near Brighton, Thomas James Gibson, aged 20 years, of Hamilton, appeared before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in tho Hamilton Magistrate's Court this morning, 110 was remanded until Friday. Tho polico stated that as accused was arrested only last evening, and as 18 horses were involved in a further charge, they would rcquiro time to investigate. Bail was fixed in two sureties 06 £SO.
