BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP.
RECOGNITION OF SCHMELING SHARKEY OFFERS RETURN BOUT. NEW YORK, Juno 19. The New York State Athletic Commission has recognised Schmeling as the heavy-weight boxing champion of the world.
It, is suggested that Schmeling and Sharkey may meet again this summer. Sharkey has published a statement offering to meet Schmeling again on any terms.
