GARDEN HATS.
AND CUSHIONS TO MATCH.
Broad-brimmed hats are enjoying such a vogue this season that it_ is not surprising to find them at their most picturesque in the hats intended: for garden land river wear, says a Londoner. The other day I saw a delightful example in stitched cretonne, the background of a misty blue, with a design in soft pinks and mauves. But that is not all the story. Tho hat matched exactly the parasol and the cushion that accompanied it. Unlike most garden cushions, this ono was made on the bolster principle, though not too large for practical everyday use, and, above all, not too largo to bo easily carried froip the house to the lawn.
