MONKEY CHASE IN CHURCH.
Lulu, a femalo African monkey, made a clash for liberty a few weeks ago when slip slipped out of her cago in " Noah's Ark," a shop in Waterloo lload, London, and scampered into tho churchyard opposite followed by her owner. Round and round sho ran and tho chaso was kcon.
Just by the church door a heavy hand fell on the monkey, but, unfortunately, tho owner of the heavy hand also fell against tho church door and Lulu was onco moro at liberty.
Inside tho church were four peoplo—threo clergymon. Lulu hesitatingly crept down tho liislo, but soon all these clergymen wore in hot pursuit. The monkey rushed up and down tho aisle and began to leap over tho pews until sho was cornered and secured by tho clergymon, who promptly handed her back to her owner..
