The Onehunga branch of the League of Mothers met on Thursday atternoon, 3lrs. Benfell presiding. 31t3. Stoupe read a paper on " Tha Beautv of Service." Mrs. Bissett followed with an interesting account of two notable women she had met, " Selina, a Kaffir native teacher, and " Riioda, a crippled Australian, whose lives were each a living example oi service, 3lrs. Kirkpatrick _ and 3lra. Jordan added their appreciation to the president s thanks for a profitable afternoon. A poem was read by Mrt?. Benfell and two song 3 were sung by Mrs. Pilkingtcn. Two new members were enrolled.
