The Maunganui has hern on tho Auckland-Sydney service for three months while the Marama has been relit ving in the San Francisco service and Cook Strait ferry service. The Marama has now been transferred back to tho intercolonial ' run, and left Wellington for Sydney yesterday afternoon. Under charter to the Shell Company tho tanker Egoro arrived at Wellington from Singapore yesterday morning. The vessel has a full cargo of bulk oil for discharge at Wellington and Lyltelton. Sho is the only Sydney passenger steamer arriving at or leaving New Zealand next week. She is to leave Wellington on her return trip to Sydney next Friday. THE TAINUI. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui was to leave Gisborne for Auckland at midnight last night, and she is due at a late hour to-night. Tho vessel will completo loading at this port, and she is to bo despatched, with passengers and mail, for Southampton and London, via Panama, next Saturday. A. S. Tho conditions were too rough to tow to port the largo target which was used for firing practice. Tho warship, with the target, sheltered at lvawau Island, and will come to port to-day if the weather is favourable. THE ENTQN. The steamer Enton is due from New York on Alonday, and has been allotted a berth at Prince's Wharf. Her general merchandise cargo is for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyltelton, Dunedin and Sydney. The vessel is running under the auspices of the A. and A. Line, and the New Zealand Shipping Company are tho local agents. lONIC AND KIA ORA. Cabled advico has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the company's steamers lonic and Ivia Ora reached Southampton and London respectively last Tuesday morning. Both vessels sailed from Wellington on May 10, the Jonic for Southampton and London, and tho Kia Ora for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama. MAHANA FOR FINAL LOADING. Tho Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Alahana arrived from Wellington early yesterday morning and berthed at Queen's Wharf to complete loading New Zealand produce for Halifax and London to the agency of A. S. Patorson and Company. Limited. It is hoped to despatch the vessel for Halifax on Alonday evening, but she was delayed loading yesterday owing to tho wet weather. WINGATUI DIVERTED. Tho Union Company advises that the Wingatui was tmablo to load cement ut Portland yesterday owing to heavy rain. The vessel was to havo returned to Auckland this morning to continue loading general cargo for Southern ports. Owing to tho delay Iho arrangements havo been cancelled and she will proceed front Portland direct to Wellington.
