SHEEPOWNERS AND FARMERS•
DECISIONS OF CONFERENCE.

Speaking at. tho conference of tlis Farmers' Union to-day the Dominion president, Mr. W. J. Poison, said ho had had a brief conference with tlie Sheepowners' Federation and they had agreed that the remits on tho most important matters passed by tho farmers' conference should be jointly supported by tho Farmers' Union and sheepowners, when presented to tho Government, tho remits passed on land taxation, derating, tho Arbitration Court and unemployment would bo submitted to a joint committee, and would be handed by a deputation to tho Government. The conference agreed to this proposal.
