ORATIA WATER SUPPLY.
REJECTION OF PROPOSAL. The proposal of the Waitemata County Council to provide a water supply for the Oratia district, near Glen Eden, was rejected on Wednesday at a poll of ratepayers. Twenty-two voles were l'ecorded against tho proposal and five in favour of it.
