PLUNGE INTO HARBOUR.
TRACTOR AND DRIVER. WELLINGTON WHARF MISHAP. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Thursday. A Wellington Harbour Board tractor fell over the Pipitea Wharf into 46ft. of water this morning, taking its driver, Mr. G. T. McNamara, with it. Mr. McNamara escaped with abrasions and shock.
The accident was caused through a beam which was being hoisted to the wharf fouling a rake of trolleys and dragging the tractor over.
