MOTOR-CAR BURNED.

OUTBREAK ON ROAD. [Bl' telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Thursday. A heavy seven-seater motor-car, owned by Mr. T. Clarkin, of Hamilton East, was extensively damaged by fire on tho Hamil-ton-Cambridge Road, at Hillcrest, about 2Jg miles south of Hamilton, at eight o'clock last evening. The car, which was engaged in a service between Hamilton and Taupo, was set alight as a result of the engine backfiring. The whole of the bodywork was destroyed.
