CHRIST CHURCH TO HAMILTON ■ LADY AS PASSENGER. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE KUITI. Tuesday. Major G. A. 0. Cowpcr, of Hamilton, who has recently been making a number of flights in the vicinity of To Kuiti, is leaving to-night for Christchurch to take chargo of a new Desoutter monoplane, with which he will attempt a flight from Christchurch to Hamilton on Friday. Tho machine is a three-passenger one and will bo the first of its kind to be used for passenger flights in New Zealand. En route from Christchurch Major Cowper expects to mako landings at Blenheim, Wellington and Hawera. Mrs. A. C. Lavington, of Te Kuiti, will accompany Major Cowper. She will therefore bo among tho first women in New Zealand to mako such a lengthy flight.
