MOUNT WELLINGTON NEEDS
MEETING OF NEW BOARD.
PROPOSAL FOR WATER SUPPLY.
The first NUH'ling of ilio newly-elected Mount Wellington Road Hoard was held last evening. Mr. (J. Kay declined nomination for a. further term of office as chairman, and nominated 'Mr. AY. Oollan, who was elected unopposed. On the motion of Mr. ,7. Wood, seconded by Mr. Oollan, tho board passed a vote of thanks to Mr. Kay for his services during the last two years. The board decided to call a public meeting in the J'annul ro Hall to discuss with Iho ratepayers the proposed water supply scheme. It. also decided to make an inspection of the district to form an idea of the estimates for tho year and tho public works requirements.
