LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
HAMILTON'
Last week a meeting of representative women of Hamilton, convened by Mrs. Lonsdale, was held in the Y.M.C.A. hall, in ordej to give tho Auckland provincial president and secretary of tho League of Mothers an opportunity of explaining the aims and objects of the league, with a view to forming a branch in Hamilton. Mrs. W. Frazcr was in the chair.
After Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell, president, had explained these aims of the league, and Miss A. M. Arey, provincial secretary, had also spoken, it was unanimously decided to form a branch, to bo known as the Hamilton branch of tho League of Mothers. The election of officers was as follows:—President, Mrs. W Frazer; vice-presidents, Mrs. Gilbert and Mrs. Lonsdale; secretary, Mrs. W. A. Gifford; treasurer, Mrs. W. J. Earlo. A committee of six was also elected.
