COLOUR FOR BRIDES.
The modern trousseau is a very colour fill affair, as the Queen remarked as she saw some of the final pouches being put to one which will be delivered early this week, states a London writer. There were pyjamas in printed crepe fie chino, each with its supplementary short coat in shades of yellow, green, and peach; nightdresses in blue and p rim rose The Queen, who has dono moro than anyone else to bring the Nottingham lace industry into prominence, was delighted with the new lace ensembles that arc being included in all the modern trousseaux, and which consist of a sleeveless lace frock with a short coat, to he worn either as a tcagown, or for informal home dinners, or in tho morning for breakfast in the summer.
