PLUNKET SOCIETY,
Mr. C. E. Macmillan, M.P., presided at tho annual meeting of tho Plunket Society. The president's report disclosed a very successful year and the sub-branchos all showed progress. The balance-sheet gave a credit balance of £414. Officers were elected as follows: —Patron and patroness, .Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Macmillan; president, Mrs. S. 0. Guiness: vice-presi-dents, Mesdames F. Boyd, B. C. Bobbins, F. A. Wilson and A. Tudhopo; secretary, Mrs. W. S. Harris; treasurer, Mrs. 11. Wallace; committee, Mesdames Dive, Pillans, Paterson, Blacken, Watkinson, Pcmberton, Maltbv, T. H. Hall, W. F. Cross, P. Wallace, 1 Giftord, Woods, Beck and Miss Adams.
