MRS. ELSIE BENEDICT.

TOWN HALL LECTURES.

The first of a series of lectures on selfadvancement and self-realisation will be given in the Town Ilall concert chamber this evening by Mrs. Elsie Lincoln Bene diet. Mrs. Benedict is the principal English-speaking lecturer of the International Opportunity League, a worldwide organisation devoted to the propagation, in an easily comprehensible form, of modern scientific discoveries. The theme of Mrs. Benedict's lectures is that every normal human being has a definite set of main desires without which he cannot bo happy. The realisation of those desires should bo the essential aim of everyone, but is unfortunately not possible without an elementary knowledge of psychology. It is with the object of expounding the necessary facts that Mrs. Benedict has undertaken to lecture.
