A RECORD FLIGHT.
COPY OF HERALD CARRIED.
A copy of the New Zealand Herald was carried on' the record-breaking (light from New York to Buenos Aires, made recently by Lieutenants W. W. White and C. McMullen, of the United States Army Air Corps. The flight was sponsored by the Foreign Advertising and Service Bureau, a large American agency, and dedicated to the important papers of tho world, copies of which were carried in the aeroplane. The flight of 7000 miles was made in 5 days 5 hours, reducing the flying time record by three hours. Yesterday, a page of the Herald of January 11 was received, stamped and signed to certify that tho copy had been carried on the flight.
