SHOES LIKE TOADSTOOLS.
Smart shoemakers have been showing spotted shoes for weeks, but so far these have remained in shop windows, says an Englishwoman. Yesterday, however. I saw a pair of spotted shoos being given an airing, and the owner, a slim figure in navv blue, seemed quito unconscious of the interested glances cast at her neat court shoos of navy kid dotted with white spots as largo as sixpences.. If the fashion spreads there is no end to the variety which could be introduced in " toadstool " shoe effects. Shoes of this kind, however, can only be worn with impunity' by the owners of small and very neat feet, and look well only in the daytime with a very simple dress..!',
