HAMILTON, Monday,

Tho Waikato Winter Show will bo (opened at Hamilton by the GovernorGeneral, Lord Biedisloe, on May 27. It wi?J continue until June 3. The building in Ward Street has been cleared and lenovated in preparation for tho opening ind tho stalls aro being erected. Primarily, an exhibition of dairy products, and ono of tho largest of its kind in the world, the show promises this year to be one of the most successful yet held. Tho number of entries in the dairy division exceeds all previous tot:ils. This year also marks the first occasion on which tho number has exceeded 1000. Largo areas have been reserved for tho homo industries, agricultural, horticultural, school arid art sections, while the Departments of Agriculture, Forestry, Railways and Health will sliaro another largo bay. There is also spaco allotted as a dining hall. The remainder of the building has been Apportioned to industrial exhibitions and private stallholders, of which there will probably bo nioro than 300.
