BOOKMAKING CHARGE.
ARREST BY DETECTIVES. Charged with using his house at 41, Paico Avenue, Kingsland, as a common gaming-house. David Guthrie Caldwell, ;iged 39, appeared before Mr. John Donald, J.P., on Saturday afternoon. The arrest. was made by Detective-Sergeant McHugh and Detective Nalder, who visited the premises about mid-day. Caldwell was remanded until to-day on bail of £IOO.
