MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENT.; A leading signalman on 11.51.5. Dunedin, Arthur James Halliday, who received head injuries oil Friday afternoon as a rcsult.jof a motor-cyc'le accident, died in the. Auckland Hospital early on Saturday morning."' lie was thrown from his machine when it crashed into a telegraph pole at the intersection of King Edward Avenuo and Cheltenham Road, Devonport. An inquest was opened by the coroner, Sir. F. K. Hunt, S.SI., on Saturday morning, and after evidence of identification had been given it was adjourned sine die.
