AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS.

WIN AT WORCESTER.

BRADMAN SCORES 236.

INNINGS DECLARED. HOME TEAM OUT FOR 196. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received May 3, 1.15 a.m.) LONDON, May 2. The completion of a brilliant innings of 236 by Bradman was the feature of the second day's play in the match between tho Australian cricketers and Worcestershire. His effort amazed the spectators. He treated the bowlers with scant respect all day, and hit the ball to all parts of the field. He reached the century in 120 minutes.

Woodfull, upon obtaining 100 runs in the second over, up to which he had not given a chance, became reckless and attacked the weak bowling. He went out in attempting a big hit. He and Bradman put on 200 runs in just over two hours.

Bradman did not hit out until he had scored 100. The New South Wales colt, assisted by Richardson, McCabe and A'Beckett, made his total 200 after he had been 255 minutes at the crease. He went out, like Woodfyll, in attempting to lift the ball out of the ground. Bradman batted for 276 minutes, and hit 28 fours, giving only one chance, which, was after lie had passed his second hundred. His score is tho highest ever compiled against Worcestershire. He drove with great power and presented an impregnable defence. Root kept a good length, but Bradman and Woodfull opened out to him.

Worcestershire were all out for 196 in the second innings.

Details of the scores are:—
