BRITISH WOMEN WIN.
DEFEAT OF AMERICANS. (Received May 3. 12.25 a.m.) LONDON. May 2. In an international golf match at Suitningdale the British women golfers, captained by Miss Molly Gourlay, defeated the American team, under Miss Glenna Collett, the American woman champion. The foursomes ended all square, but the Englishwomen won the singles by six matches to four. Miss Gourlay defeated Miss Collett by 1 up. The American team included many players who will compete in the women's championship.
