COAL OWNERS' DECISION.
EARLY REOPENING OF PITS.
SYDNEY, April 10.
The owners of the mines on the northern coalfields arc expected shortly to announce tho date on which the pits will be reopened.
Having given the miners an opportunity of returning- to work the owners, now that tho compromise terms have been rejected, will carry out their original plans of reopening the mines with volunteer labour.
