A poll on the liquor question has been taken by the Literary Digest. The votes totalled 2,516,072. They were cast as follows: — For prohibition enforcement . 712,549 For modification of law . . . 754,266 For repeal of prohibition . . 1,049,257 Of t lie 44 States which reported polls Kansas was the only one. where tho advocates of prohibition were in a majority.
