CONVERSION LOAN SUCCESS

A statement regarding (lie recent debt conversion operations was made to-day bv the Federal Treasurer, Mr. K Theodore. He said that of (he £60,000,000 maturing in December only £18.000,000 remained lo be dealt with. 1 his was very gratifying, paid Mr. Theodore, and it provided a definite answer to (he suggestion that, Australia might have to seek overseas help in this connection.
