GIRL RIDER THROWN.
SERIOUS HEAD INJURIES.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NAPIER, Thursday.
Severn head injuries were suffered by Shiela Cuthbert, aged 12 years, the daughter oi Air. W. Cuthbert, of iiYaipukurau, as the result of being thrown from a horse this afternoon. The girl was riding the horse across a footpath to cutei a gate when the animal stumbled and throw hei head first to the payment, She was taken to the Waipukurau Hospital, and is reported to be in a serious condition.
