The following resolution was passed at meeting.of the Otago Officers' Club, at :>vhieh public body representatives were present. • • V : "That this meeting views with grave 'concern the situation in regard to national defenco and urges upon the Prime Minister tho'danger of disruptive action and the necessity of full investigation and consideration before taking action. In the meeting's opinion nothing short of a Royal Commission, including experts from England, is competent to investigate and report.".
