FLOODS DELAY MAILS.
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN LINES.
PASSENGERS MAROONED. PERTH. Feb. 21. Torrential rains throughout a large portion of the country traversed hy the East to West railway caused washouts in several places. The East-bound express with the Orford's mails was held up at Loongana, and passengers are expected to be marooned there for several days. A mail airplane was detained at Forrest, ■where the flooded landing ground prevents from taking off. The West-bound express train is also detained.
