SYSTEM IN AUSTRALIA.
STATES AGREE TO CHANGE

CANBERRA, Feb. 21.
The Prime Minister, Mr. J. H. Scullin, las announced that the State Premiers, in conference, have agreed to his suggestion that the States should discontinue the
present- practice of sending nominations for migrants to London, and th.it nominations should, in future, be left entirely to the Commonwealth Government.
